Higharc Raises $95M Series C to Scale AI Across the Homebuilding Supply Chain
Vertex Holdings08 Jul 2026The construction industry has long lagged behind other sectors in technology adoption. Higharc's latest raise signals how quickly that is changing.
Homebuilding has historically relied on disconnected tools: static CAD drawings, manual estimating, and workflows that break down the moment a plan changes. The result is delayed starts, materials overage, and costly change orders, errors that compound as builders try to scale.
Higharc was built to close that gap. Rather than treating a home as a static drawing, its platform generates each home as a structured 3D model that carries construction data, code requirements, and geometry with it from design through to construction. That structure is what allows the platform to automate design, estimating, and sales workflows that would otherwise require weeks of manual coordination.
"We evaluated a lot of AI tools, but most produce outputs that require so much correction they're unusable. Higharc is different. It's grounded in how homes are actually built, so the outputs are usable from day one," said Kyle Bear, VP of Research and Development at Signature Homes. "Higharc helps us move faster and operate with more precision and fewer downstream surprises."
"Everything we're building is in service of one outcome: to make homebuilding seamless so builders can build better homes more affordably. This next phase is about scaling that impact by deepening our AI capabilities and bringing suppliers onto the same trusted system builders already rely on," said Marc Minor, CEO and co-founder of Higharc.
The raise lands as AI adoption across the built environment accelerates more broadly, moving beyond design assistance into structured, production-grade workflows that materials distributors and suppliers can plug into directly. Higharc's own expansion reflects that shift: alongside the funding, the company announced a partnership with US LBM, the largest private distributor of building materials in the US, extending its AI Estimating product beyond builders to the supply chain for the first time.
"What sets Higharc apart for US LBM is the ability to go from a static 2D plan to a precise and dynamic 3D data model in one step. That unlocks not just fast, accurate quoting but smarter material planning, the ability to sell the whole home and real-time collaboration with our customers," said Jonathan Greene, Chief Digital and Technology Officer at US LBM.
Vertex's perspective
Higharc has been a Vertex Ventures US portfolio company since its early funding rounds. The company's move into supplier-facing workflows extends a thesis Vertex Ventures US has backed from the start: that construction technology creates the most value when it replaces fragmented, manual processes with a single structured data layer, one that gets more useful to more players in the supply chain as it scales.
With this round, Higharc reports customers cutting time-to-community-open by 25 to 50% and increasing margins by 10 to 15%, evidence that the platform's impact compounds as adoption widens from design teams to the broader building materials ecosystem.
As Higharc's AI Estimating product rolls out further into the distributor channel, the next test will be whether that same structured data layer can turn today's single-partner pilot with US LBM into a standard other distributors adopt as well.
